Arts Related Technical Training for Entertainment Careers
ARTTEC is a program designed for high school students, offering hands-on career training in the entertainment industry. Students learn by working with industry veterans and celebrity mentors on actual productions that are designed for national public release. Productions fall into the genres of Music Videos, Feature Films, Live Music Concerts, and Live Television.
The skills developed through ARTTEC prepare our students for opportunities in any occupation, provide career experience, and instill the self confidence needed to give a competitive edge in job interviews, scholarship applications, and college entrance.
ARTTEC Productions and workshops take place all year round and are especially busy during vacation periods including Winter Break and Summer Vacation. Productions typically fall on weekends and are planned so as not to interfere with school schedules. Specifics on dates, production locations, and schedules are released to students once Enrolled to ensure location and student security. Students may attend productions based upon their own personal availability. All production opportunities with the exception of occasional field trips take place in Silicon Valley and Santa Clara County.
Thanks to our generous contributors this program is available to students in it’s entirety for an annual $25 enrollment fee that covers the current school year through Summer. Enrollment includes access to ALL of our productions in film, concerts, television, and music videos as well as access to our professional mentors and all of our industry skill workshops.
ARTTEC is now accepting high school students from throughout the Silicon Valley. If you are grade 9 through 12, with the commitment and drive to be successful in the entertainment industry, then we want to hear from you!
